Danzón is a rhythm and a dance from Cuban, created by the composer Miguel Faílden from Matanzas and has its origin from another Cuban genre called Danza, a variation of Contradanza.
This Danzón is inspired by Silvio Solano and "Chiqui" Pérez. At that times they were innovative and showed a new melodic structure to the Danzón.

The Original Orchestra of Manzanillo was founded on December 21, 1963.
It was a group of young people from the Bartolomé Masó Secondary School and directed by Juvencio Guerrero and a group of workers. The first name was Los Traviesos.
The rhythm of the guiro and the scrolling timpani fans are shown. Keeping the bell of the traditional Charanga or Cha cha cha. A style with two congas with a peculiar structure by Silvio Solano is played.
This style was represented by the percussionists of Cha cha cha, like; Enrique Jorrín, Orestes Aragón, La Siglo XX and many other great groups of that time.
